A Poem By My Daughter

My daughter just turned 10 and has been wanting to write a poem for a Remembrance day contest.

She wrote one last night and wanted me to share it with all of you!

All That Is Right

On Remembrance Day we remember
It’s a special day in November
The soldiers died for their country
So that we could be free
A symbol of remembrance is a poppy red
Soldiers wished they were home in their bed
But they stayed to fight
For all that is right

I told you she is creative! I thought she did a great job for her first attempt at poetry!
